How Taraji P. Henson Get Stunt Moves Tight for Proud Mary
Enough was movie a while back that starred Jennifer Lopez where in order to protect her and her daughter from an abusive husband she learned self-defense. I always wondered what taking a class like that would look and feel like. It was terrifying and empowering all at the same time. Armed with some wicked allergies, a metal knee and enthusiasm, I popped into Shield Women’s Self Defense in Culver City, CA to learn the same moves taught to Taraji P. Henson for her latest Sony Pictures release of Proud Mary. Eternally grateful for the knowledge I am now armed with…y’all better watch out… a new Curvy Superhero is on the horizon…LOL.
