Being a Broadway baby, I couldn’t wait to see this film for two reasons…Theatre and Annette Bening!

Set in the world of the late 1930’s London stage, reigning diva Julia Lambert’s success and fame grows very suddenly. She falls head over heels for a young American and begins a passionate May – December affair. Once she realizes her boy-toy is just a young social climber whose real passion is ambitious young starlet Avice Crichton, Julia begins to plot a delightful revenge.
