13 Days of Halloween – The Omen

Baby, in the 70’s Hollywood was obsessed with all things occult and another film that joined the ranks was “The Omen”.  “The Omen” has an American ambassador being surrounded by death and people start wondering if his son actually belongs to the devil himself.

I don’t know how my Mom got us in the theater to see this one, but it scared the hell out of me and to this day I can not watch this film.  Once in the movie theater was quite enough…thank you very much…lol.  The little boy who played Damien, Harvey Stephens was so fierce that he found himself being nominated for a Golden Globe.

Starring Hollywood legends Gregory Peck and Lee Remick, the film won an Academy Award for Best Music – Original Score.

I love, love love movies, watching them and discussing them...thus the birth of The Curvy Film Critic!!!
