Ten Years Ago: THE NOTEBOOK and SPIDERMAN 2

MV5BMTk3OTM5Njg5M15BMl5BanBnXkFtZTYwMzA0ODI3._V1_SX214_AL_Being an avid reader, Nick Cassavetes is one of my favorite authors.  Mostly because he always conveys the hope and joy that comes along with love in his stories.  To my knowledge, one of his first novels to be adapted for the screen was The Notebook.  In this fabulous film, a poor, passionate young man falls in love with a rich young woman and gives her a sense of freedom. They soon are separated by their social differences, but become reunited.  What happens next is not to be believed… the pairing of Gena Rowlands/James Garner and Rachel McAdams/Ryan Gosling was pure genius.  Bring your tissues for this one.  It is a guaranteed tear jerker.
