MV5BMTIwMzE2MjM4MV5BMl5BanBnXkFtZTYwNjA1OTY3._V1_SX214_AL_Dodgeball:  A True Underdog Story was the precursor to such hit films as Anchorman, Blades of Glory and Waterboy.  Most of these films starred a combination of Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn and Will Ferrell and put a satirical spin on such sports and games as figure-skating, dogdeball, basketball and others  In Dodgeball:  A True Underdog Story the audience follows a  group of misfits who enter a Las Vegas dodgeball tournament in order to save their cherished local gym from the onslaught of a corporate health fitness chain.  If you are a fan of Benny Hill, SNL or Mad TV, you will surely get a few chuckles at this dil that opened in theaters ten  years ago – June 18, 1994.  It was so successful in the box office that it spurned a spinoff – Dodgeball 2 (no release date is set)
