#TBT Throwback Thursday

#TBT Mr. Holland’s Opus

Richard Dreyfuss is unarguably one of the most passionate actors to come out of the 29th century.  His name alone would attract Oscar buzz.

With all the Oscar buzz these days swirling around J.K. Simmons for Whiplash, let’r roll it back to 1995 and Mr. Holland’s Opus. Dreyfuss  portrayed Glenn Holland, a frustrated composer who finds another career being a high school music teacher to perfection was nominated for the Golden Globe and Oscar for his performance.  This film also showcased the talents of a young Terrence Howard and William H. Macy.
