2004 was a hot year for former stand-up and In Living Color star Jaime Foxx. He was the star in two major motion pictures sharing screen time with Jada Pinkett-Smith and global box office star Tom Cruise in Collateraland as blues legend Ray Charles in Ray. Foxx, portrayed a cab driver finds himself the hostage of a contract killer. As he makes his rounds from hit to hit during one night in Los Angeles, he also must find a way to save both himself and one last victim. It was a very suspenseful, action-packed film which showed all three of its stars in a light we had never seen them in before or since.
For his portrayal of Max, Foxx was nominated for the SAG, Golden Globe and Academy Award, but walked away with the Oscar for RAY. Here are the trailers for both…
