Transformers One Is High Adrenaline Animated Fun

As someone who didn’t have a Transformer toy or watch the cartoon, when I screened Transformers One, the opening sequence alone had me on the edge of my seat and turned out to be hilariously entertaining.
Directed by Josh Cooley, Transformers One is the untold origin story of Optimus Prime and Megatron, better known as sworn enemies, but once were friends bonded like brothers who changed the fate of Cybertron forever. In the first-ever fully CG-animated Transformers
Key as B-127 going on hysterically comical rants about his self given nick name “Badassatron” is giving me a vibe of Joe Pesci in the Lethal Weapon franchise.
Scarlett Johansson as Elita-1 has a voice born for animation. B-127 may be Badassatron, but Elita-1 is the true Badass of the Transformers One crew. I also loved how Fishburne was giving me a little nod to The Matirx as Alpha Tron.
With witty and smart dialogue courtesy of Eric Pearson, Andrew Barrer and Gabriel Ferrari coupled with Cooley’s ingenious direction and a story of the line crossed between friends and enemies audiences learn that innately we all have the power to transform. Transformers One is chock full of vibrant animated action sequences and a message that sticks to the ribs for all ages of learning what defines a Transformer is not the cog in your chest, but the spark in your potential.
