#TBT Dumb and Dumber

Holiday season in 1994, Jeff Daniels and Jim Carrey released a film about two goodhearted, incredibly stupid best friends traveling cross country. Carrey had cornered the market on this band of acting going all the way back to his day on the sketch-comdy series In Living Color and Daniels was mostly known for his dramatic film roles (remember Terms of Endearment?). Lauren Holly fresh off of a slew of Lifetime tv movies and a regular gig on the ABC-TV soap All My Children when sh repaired up this unlikely duo.

Dumb and Dumber was so popular that it spawned a sequel this year an made a hit splash once again.
