Saban’s Power Rangers team up with Liongate and Thirst Project to End Hunger
This week, Lionsgate and Thirst Project launched a fundraising and awareness-raising campaign, TOGETHER WE ARE MORE, in collaboration with SABAN’S POWER RANGERS, which hits theaters MARCH 24th.
Fans are being encouraged to help light up the world by tweeting an exclusive Ranger Twitter emoji (#BlueRanger, #YellowRanger, #RedRanger, #BlackRanger, #PinkRanger). For every hashtag, Lionsgate will donate to The Thirst Project to help end the global water crisis.
In addition, fans can take a selfie in Ranger colors with their Power Squad and share on Twitter or Instagram, using the hashtags #TogetherWeAreMore #ThirstProject, for a chance to win a trip to the Los Angeles premiere from Thirst Project.
SABAN’S POWER RANGERS follows five ordinary teens who must become something extraordinary when they learn that their small town of Angel Grove – and the world – is on the verge of being obliterated by an alien threat. Chosen by destiny, our heroes quickly discover they are the only ones who can save the planet. But to do so, they will have to overcome their real-life issues and before it’s too late, band together as the Power Rangers.
Thirst Project is the largest youth water organization whose mission is to build a socially-conscious generation of young people who END the global water crisis.
