Con or Angel? Judge for Yourself with Connected: The Joe Polish Story

 

Most entrepreneurs are running from something.  When we think about addiction, one has a tendency to think about drugs, alcohol or sex.  Hardly ever do we think about an enterprising entrepreneur.  You know the ones who have a million things going on at one time and is successful at every single thing they touch?

Meet Joe Polish.  A former carpet salesman who has made a commitment to be a hero to entrepreneurs.  Why? Polish feels these individuals are responsible for creating jobs, change and value.  Therefore, he created The Genuis Network out of a desire to assist people struggling with entreprenuer addiction by simplybecoming CONNECTED.

Born in El Paso,Texas to a former nun,  this young man grew up to become a sought after business man, marketing guru and worldwide ‘connector.’  A man who believes that titles equal entitlements is the CEO and founder of The Genius Network and a very unusual human being who has urinals in his office restrooms in the shape of woman’s lips painted red.

Polish believes entrepreneurs end up broken, in poor health with broken relationships and marriages relationships who never become able to connect with themselves on the most visceral levels.  Yeah, it sounds a motivational speaker whose major motivation is the almighty dollar.  But, Polish honestly communicates he simply only wants to assist entrepreneurs in reaching their full potential mentally, physically and emotionally.

Having been on the other end of someone who is a ‘marketing expert’, I know people like Joe Polish charge exorbitant prices to weed out the riff raff.  It’s a proven marketing strategy and ideology amongst those selling classes or products via the internet that  you can motivate and light a fire under folks all day long, but those who are committed will make that serious investment in their company almost immediately.

Is the Genius Network a scam?  Do the celebrities Polish has access to like Richard Branson, Ariana Huffington or Tony Roberts get a kick back from his business or vice-versa?  I would like to believe his actions and motivation are sincere.  I would like to believe he is not preying on the insecurity of business owners who are looking for a shortcut to success.  I would like to believe his whole life as a person who was plagued with addiction is not utilizing his own entrepreneur addiction as a means to take advantage of the masses only looking to make their quality of life better by becoming their own boss.
