Jennifer Lopez is Working Girl Cinderella in Second Act

What happens to women of a certain age when society has made them feel like their contribution to the world isn’t welcome?  What happens when the man of your dreams is dying to marry you, but you are the one with cold feet?  What happens when you are caught up in a lie to get ahead, only to live in fear that someone will peep what’s going down?

This was Maya’s reality.  A hard-working, innovative woman who could pop statistics and has been overlooked (yet again) for a well-deserved promotion.  All the while, harboring a  secret that could tear her relationship apart…so she thinks.  Ageism, Discrimination, Integrity, and of course, the power of love from friends and partners are all themes prevalent in this film and  Second Act’s cinematic commentary should inspire women all over the globe to never give up no matter what age.  Seriously, can you really put  price tag on a dreams?

Loved the endearing friendship amongst Maya and Joan.  That kinship rarely highlighted between women in film.  Appreciate you JLO!  Produced by STX Entertainment, Second Act hits theatres Friday!!!  Take a group of girlfriend who need a cocktail and a little empowerment nudge.
