Carol & Netflix Rule Golden Globe Noms

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s 73rd annual Golden Globes nominations were revealed this morning with The Weinstein Company’s Carol leading the film side with five nominations including for Best Picture Drama and a head to head showdown between stars Cate Blanchett and Rooney Mara, who both landed Best Actress Drama noms.
Of course I would not be honest if I said I was disappointed that Michael B.Jordan and Tessa Thompson among many others were not blessed with nominations. That doesn’t take away from their work which was stellar!
The awards show is January 10 on NBC hosted by Ricky Gervais.
